THE ETHICS CANVAS PROJECT
The project is an open-source brainstorming, and idea sharing web tool. It will allow people involved in technology, to assess and discuss different ethical aspects of new technologies and their projects and how they affect us as humans and societies.

The motivation behind the project: Ethics in Technology
The ethical challenges present themselves in various areas of technologies such as when we deal with areas such as user data, privacy, artificial intelligence, self-driving cars, medical science and biotechnology, now and even more so in the future. Machines learn and their intelligence becomes more and more capable of affecting human life and societies. By giving up more and more control to machines, how will humans stay relevant, protected and progressing?.
The pace of advancement is staggering and technological advancements that were thought to be decades away are already happening. Algorithms are going to become integrated parts in the fabric of our systems and collective lives. This is fascinating and provides immense opportunities to enhance the human experience.
At the same time, we need to get together, create discussions among ourselves and provide tools to set legal and ethical boundaries in order to ensure a sustainable development of our societies.
